A 3ft square painting inspired by the shape and movement of a horse during dressage... the curve of the 'top line' (the neck)... the carriage of the body, the lightness of foot. Some horses do 'display' in this way by themselves occasionally, especially Stallions, but then there is a high energy to the animal. With dressage... it is a softer impression.
